MCI Latam Joins Reciclatón 2025: Supporting Education and a Cleaner Ocean in Puerto Plata

At MCI Group, we believe that impactful change begins at the community level. That’s why MCI Latam, our regional branch based in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, is proud to support Reciclatón 2025, a local environmental and social initiative.

Led by the Fundación Genera ITM, in collaboration with Port Taino Bay, the Puerto Plata Municipality, and several other local organizations, Reciclatón is part of the larger Comunidades Circulares program. This initiative seeks to reduce ocean plastic pollution through environmental education and proper waste management, all while giving back to local families.

What makes this initiative special?
Families are invited to participate by collecting recyclable plastics, which are then exchanged for school supplies. It’s a powerful way to both clean the environment and support children’s education as they head back to school.

MCI Latam is contributing through the donation of 200 school supply kits, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility, environmental protection, and community well-being.
